2012–2013 Dates
September 12, 2012 Registration for Fall SHSAT and LaGuardia High School Audition begins
September 29-30, 2012 Citywide High School Fair at Brooklyn Technical High School  (29 Fort Greene Place, Brooklyn, NY  11217), 10:00 am – 3:00 pm 
October 10, 2012 Deadline to register for Fall SHSAT and LaGuardia High School Audition
October 13-14, 2012 Borough High School Fairs, 11:00 am – 3:00 pm
October 22, 2012 Release of SHSAT Ticket and LaGuardia High School Audition Ticket
October 27, 2012 SHSAT for all current 8th grade students (students will be assigned a test date)
October 28, 2012 SHSAT CANCELED

*October 28, 2012 testing date rescheduled for November 18, 2012*
November 3, 2012 SHSAT CANCELED

*November 3, 2012 testing date rescheduled for November 17, 2012*
November 17, 2012 SHSAT for all students assigned to the November 3, 2012 testing date (current 9th grade students and 8th and 9th grade students with special needs and approved 504 accommodations)  
November 18, 2012 SHSAT for students assigned to October 28, 2012 testing date (current 8th grade students) 
December 2, 2012 SHSAT Make-up (by permission only), 9th grade Sabbath observers, 8th and 9th grade Sabbath observers with special needs and approved 504 accommodations
December 10, 2012 Deadline to submit Round 1 High School Application                 
March 15, 2013 Round 1 High School Admissions Results, including Specialized High School Admissions Test (SHSAT) and LaGuardia High School audition results                                                           
April 6 & 7, 2013 Round 2 High School Fair 11am - 2pm at MLK Campus, 122 Amsterdam Avenue, Manhattan 10023
April 12, 2013 Deadline to submit Round 1 Responses and Round 2 High School Applications
May 30, 2013 Additional Ways to Graduate Fair - 5:30 PM - 8:00 PM
