Mission The District 75 Office of School Wellness Programs in PE/HE/APE is for District 75 physical educators to share a common goal with all DOE physical educators to empower their students for active participation in performance activities in classes, in the culture of the school, and in the neighborhood and sports community at large which is critical to successful community integration and post school success. Support for this vision is through a joint relationship between District 75 and the DOE's Office of School Wellness Programs to increase physical activity opportunities for all students in NYC public schools. The emphasis for all District 75 students is on the use of physical activity that students enjoy and promotes individual choices wherever possible so that there may be greater transfer to real life settings. The curriculum supports the New York State Standards for Physical Education of Personal Health and Fitness; A Safe and Healthy Environment, and Resource Management.
