Enrollment Help
Need a school? We're here to support:
-
If you are new to New York City public schools or need help with the enrollment process, visit the New Students page to learn more.
-
Contact Family Welcome Centers to get help with enrollment and admissions.
-
Our schools warmly welcome and serve all NYC students, including students with disabilities, students learning English, students with accessibility needs, and students in temporary housing, as well as LGBTQ students.
-
Find forms that school staff and Family Welcome Centers provide to families for enrollment, registration, and more.
-
Learn about different ways to transfer, what to do, and what documentation you might need to request a transfer.
-
You must make a Statement of Intent to home-school your child by July 1, or within 14 days of beginning a home instruction program.
-
If you live outside of New York City’s five boroughs (Bronx, Brooklyn, Manhattan, Queens, and Staten Island), you can apply to enroll in a DOE public school.
