Deborah Dillingham leaves her recent roles as D28 Community Education Council President and Queens Borough appointee and Member of the District 28 Leadership Team to serve on the PEP. She has many years of experience advocating for students, parents, and schools, having served as a P.A. President, Presidents’ Council President, and Chancellor’s Parent Advisory Committee Member. A graduate of Bates College and Harvard University, Deborah has extensive work experience in education-related fields having worked in publishing and toy marketing in New York City for many years. Early in her career, she served as the Assistant Director of Financial Aid for Fisher College in Boston, MA and as a Program Compliance Officer for the Board of Regents in Boston, Massachusetts. She holds degrees in English literature and psychology.
Ms. Dillingham lives in Forest Hills with her husband and three children who attend New York City public middle schools and high schools.
