Stephanie Soto is both a parent of a Bronx public school student and product of New York City's higher public education system. Stephanie's approach to educational justice is informed by a commitment to create quality education for all of New York City's children.
Professionally, Stephanie connects underserved communities to critical healthcare resources, and advocates for sustainable access to affordable healthcare . At the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, Stephanie helped launch its co-pay program, which provides free, highly specialized blood cancer information, education and financial support for patients and caregivers. In her current role as a product manager at Acorda Therapeutics, Stephanie serves populations experiencing walking difficulty due to Multiple Sclerosis. Stephanie obtained her Bachelor’s degree from CUNY Lehman, and resides in the Bronx with her daughter and husband.
