7th Annual School Wellness Poster Contest Opens

7th Annual Wellness Poster Contest Now Open

New York City public school students in grades K-12 are invited to submit a poster design for the 7th Annual Wellness Poster Contest. Winning designs, which champion healthy minds and bodies in school, will be displayed on posters in schools citywide, on the DOE website, and in other documents used to increase awareness of school wellness, including a colorful calendar.

This contest encourages students to create messages that promote the importance of eating nutritious food, participating in at least 60 minutes of physical activity, and getting sufficient sleep each day. To learn more about school wellness, read our Wellness Policy, see which schools have school wellness council grants, or view tools and resources for wellness in schools

The deadline for contest entries is Friday, March 4, 2016. For entry details and key dates, see the 2016 Wellness Poster Contest Guidelines. Download this flyer to promote the poster contest at your school. As an additional resource, scroll through the winning designs from 2015 and click on the links to view designs from previous years, below.
