New York City public school students in grades K-12 were invited to submit a poster design for the 4th Annual School Wellness Poster Contest. The designs promote wellness in schools and include healthy mind and body, mental and physical health benefits of eating nutritious food, being physically fit, and getting adequate sleep. Schools play an important role in promoting wellness for everyone in our school communities. To learn more about school wellness, read our
Wellness Policy, see which schools have school
wellness council grants, or

One winner and three runners-up have been selected from each grade level: elementary, middle, and high school. These winning designs will appear on posters displayed in schools citywide, on the DOE website, and in other documents used to increase awareness of School Wellness, including a colorful calendar. Stay tuned!
