Read the 2015 poster guidelines here, or print and display this flyer at your school, to join us as part of an ongoing effort to support the important role that students play in promoting health and wellness. All New York City public school students in grades K-12 are invited to submit poster designs for the 6th Annual School Wellness Poster Contest. This contest encourages students to create messages that promote the importance of eating nutritious food, participating in at least 60 minutes of physical activity, and getting sufficient sleep each day.
To learn more about school wellness, read our Wellness Policy, see which schools have school wellness council grants, or view tools and resources for wellness in schools.
One winner and three runners-up will be selected from each of three grade level categories: elementary (K-5), middle (6-8), and high school (9-12). Winning designs, which champion healthy minds and bodies in schools, will be displayed on posters in schools citywide and in other documents used to increase awareness of School Wellness, including a colorful calendar.
