Course Description: This eight day workshop will provide new G&T teachers in elementary schools with a variety of strategies, tools, and products. We will meet approximately once a month to create a network of new G&T teachers at exciting locations throughout the City. Teachers will visit established G&T classes to observe best practices and extend their network of resources.
Over the course of eight days, participants will explore ways to creatively infuse new learnings that include: differentiating curriculum for high ability learners, addressing socio-emotional classroom dynamics, foster critical thinking, and implement best practices in their new classrooms.

Course Description: The Salvadori Center uses the structures and systems of New York City to explore math, science and social studies in meaningful ways. By using their neighborhood for project-based explorations, students make curricular connections and deepen their understanding of concepts presented in their classroom. English Language Arts and Fine Arts are also integrated into each learning experience.
