The Summer Institute for the Gifted (SIG) provides academically advanced students with an exciting and serious educational experience. The program combines outstanding academic courses with cultural, social, and recreational opportunities. http://www.giftedstudy.com/

Since 1979, the Center for Talented Youth (CTY) at Johns Hopkins University has focused on the needs of students with exceptionally high academic abilities. The CTY community includes very bright students from all over the world whose talents place them well ahead of their age mates. CTY offers gifted students and their families and schools as well, a wide range of programs and services to nurture their intellectual abilities, enhance personal development, and foster better understanding of the needs of talented youth. Summer School at Phillips Exeter Academy is a five week program which includes academic study, athletics and exploration. ACCESS EXETER is for students entering grades eight and nine, which offers accelerated study in the arts and sciences. The ACCESS EXETER curriculum consists of six academic clusters. Each cluster consists of three courses organized around a central theme, while the UPPER SCHOOL offers programs of study for high school students entering grades ten through twelve and post-grad. Upper School students may choose to sample several different disciplines, taking courses in such topics as web page design, conversational French, and/or observational Astronomy. QuestBridge is a non-profit program that links bright, motivated low-income students with educational and scholarship opportunities to some of the nation's best colleges. QuestBridge is the provider of the National College Match. The College Prep Scholarship provides a risk-free opportunity for outstanding low-income students to prepare to apply to the nation's best colleges and universities. DAVIDSON FELLOW SCHOLARSHIPS The Davidson Institute for Talent Development is offering high achieving young people across the country the opportunity to be named as 2008 Davidson Fellows, an honor accompanied by a $50,000, $25,000 or $10,000 scholarship in recognition of a significant piece of work in Science, Technology, Mathematics, Music, Literature, Philosophy or Outside the Box.
