MyLibraryNYC - MyLibraryNYC is a partnership between the NYCDOE's Office of Library Services and NYC's Public Library Systems (Brooklyn Public, New York Public and Queens Library).  This guide is designed to give you an overview of the Digital Libraries in terms of features, training, communication and support.

Cooperative Collection Development – In support of student achievement, the New York City School Library System maintains a program of Cooperative Collection Development (CCD) which promotes the development of special collections and resource sharing opportunities among member libraries. CCD libraries have developed pathfinders and a Libguide to communicate the instructional framework in which the collections are used.  _________________________________________________________________

– The Office of Library Services and NOVELny offers several databases to support student instruction and research.  Access is free to public and non-public schools in New York City School Library System.

ASCD eBook Collection  (http://nycdoe.libguides.com/ASCD)- Gale Virtual Reference Library (GVRL) - The Office of Curriculum, Instruction and Professional Learning (CIPL) and the Office of Library Services/New York City School Library System (OLS) has purchased 35 Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development (ASCD) eBook titles from Gale/Cengage Learning topics that range from differentiation to various forms of assessment. With this purchase, every teacher and school leader at all DOE Schools have unlimited simultaneous use of these resources in school-wide professional development and independent study. Educators may download, print, email, save to Google Drive, embed into Google Classroom, link, listen, etc. to each of these professional books.
