STEM Summer Enrichment Programs
Summer in City 2017 has two exciting
STEM enrichment opportunities for students!
Summer STEM Program: The STEM Summer in the City (STEM SITC) program engages students throughout 5 weeks of summer school with innovative, fun and hands-on learning opportunities in science, technology, engineering and math along with art and a wellness program. In addition to STEM opportunities, students will also take part in at least two cultural trips over the summer. STEM SITC serves 4,200 students in grades 2-10 in select sites across New York City and is free for all participants. Summer meals are provided and students receive MetroCards for transportation. Students are offered this opportunity through a lottery process.
