Individualized Education Program (IEP)
|
Based on individual needs, students require different levels of assistance. In determining the type and intensity of the special education services that are needed by a given student, the IEP Team must consider what services (e.g. special education teacher services, related service, etc.) are required to
(a) address the student's needs that result from the student's disability to enable the student to be involved and progress in the general education curriculum and
(b) to meet the other education needs that result from the student's disability.
