Department of Education program for overage and under-credited high school students who want a high school diploma
|
Young Adult Borough Centers are evening programs designed specifically to meet the needs of high school students 17 years or older who have some of the credits they need to graduate (at least 17 credits) but might be considering dropping out because they are behind or they have adult responsibilities that make attending school in the daytime difficult. Students earn a high school diploma from their sending high school once they have earned all of their credits and passed exams required for graduation at the YABC. Interested students should talk to their guidance counselor at their current school to find out if they are eligible and would like to enroll.
