The Office of Student Enrollment implements three transfer programs, available to eligible parents who wish to transfer their child through the Public School Choice program.

The No Child Left Behind Public School Choice program gives parents of eligible students enrolled at Title I Schools In Need of Improvement (SINI) and Schools Under Register Review (SURR) the option to request a transfer.

The Progress Report Transfer program gives parents of eligible students enrolled at non-SINI/SURR schools that received an "F" grade on their most recent Progress Report the option to request a transfer. Parents of students enrolled at newly identified phase-out schools will also have the option to request a transfer through the Progress Report Transfer program.

The Persistently Dangerous Schools program gives parents of eligible students enrolled at schools that the State Education Department identifies as “persistently dangerous” the option to request transfer.
