IN THEIR OWN WORDS
We are a new, exciting and innovative Career and Technical Education (CTE) school preparing students for college, technical school, and/or apprenticeships in the fields of the building trades, engineering and architecture. Our school will be developing small learning communities focused around the following themes: construction trades & management, engineering and architectural design. The instructional program is supported by a new stand-alone, state-of-the-art facility which houses specialized laboratories for computer-aided design, mechanical drafting, technical drawing, model building and construction technology. We are proudly partnered with many of New York City's finest construction trades, construction management, architecture and engineering companies, which support the overall work of our school and the unique experiences of students and teachers. There will be many wonderful opportunities for apprenticeships, internships and advanced study.
