IN THEIR OWN WORDSACORN Community High School (ACHS) is a small learning community that provides a challenging education fostering equality, respect and responsibility among our school community and the varied communities within New York City. Students are expected to behave in a friendly, businesslike manner and to treat all with courtesy and respect. Our vision is that our graduates will demonstrate a preparedness for a productive work life where they can integrate academic and applied knowledge and use this knowledge in practical ways. To succeed at ACHS and in the world of work, students should be resourceful, work well with others, understand technology, apply information and be responsible and honest.
