IN THEIR OWN WORDS
We have four locations: 2 in Manhattan, 1 in the Bronx and 1 in Queens. Our school is dedicated to providing students who are at least 16 years old with an opportunity to earn their high school diploma in a smaller, student-centered learning community. Our mission has always been to help students improve their attendance, become active learners and graduate with full capability for future success. Because we are a Performance Assessment School, students need only pass the English Language Arts Regents Exam. Students must present portfolios in Global History, US History, Math and Science in order to meet the state graduation requirement. All members of our community find that Satellite Academy is a school where growth and effort lead to success.
