IN THEIR OWN WORDS
Our primary focus is on Spanish-speaking English as a Second Language. We focus on language acquisition through Bilingual and English as a Second Language (ESL) programs. Our students develop critical thinking skills through literacy and technology instruction in Spanish and English. Students are engaged in project-based learning, internships and community service. Our school’s programs give students the skills, knowledge and experiences needed to become productive members of our society.

SHOWCASE INFORMATION
Our school is expecting to start a NAF Information Technology Academy for school year 2011. Our students visit different colleges and universities throughout the school year. Selected students participate in internship activities with Parks and Recreation under Capitol Projects Division.

DID YOU KNOW?
  • The following is the dress code for school: Boys: Navy blue blazer with a navy blue tie and light blue buttoned-down shirt with long/or short sleeves. (No T-Shirts or advertisements and/or slogans on the shirts). Shirts should be tucked in. Dark grey slacks, worn to the waist, with black colored shoes. (No sneakers.) Girls: Same as boys, with an option to wear a dark grey skirt. (No skirts should be shorter than three inches above the knee.) Navy blue tie may also be replaced with continental, cross-over bow ties. Coats and hooded sweaters may not be worn throughout the day. Dark blue buttoned/zippered sweaters will be allowed. No hooded sweaters can be worn in the school building. Sneakers are worn only for gym and some school trips.
