At Bronx Early College Academy (BECA), we transform our students’ lives by preparing them for success in college and in life. The curriculum at BECA offers students an accelerated academic program leading to the completion of a high school diploma along with up to two years of college coursework while in high school. The educational goals of this initiative are to minimize the barriers between high school and college, ease the transition from secondary to post-secondary school and prepare students for, and attract them to, higher education as well as increase high school graduation rates.
