Pre-K round two decision letters have been mailed. The pre-K registration period is from Thursday, August 28, 2008 through Friday, September 5, 2008.  Please call your assigned school to schedule an appointment to visit and register.

You must bring your child and the following required documentation to the school for registration: 
- proof of birth (birth certificate or passport)
- verifiable proof of residence
- immunization records
- pre-K offer letter

The Pre-Kindergarten Borough staff is available to answer any questions that you may have about curriculum and enrollment.

This directory includes a list of public schools with available pre-Kindergarten programs as of August 22, 2008. 

Community-Based Organization (CBO) Pre-K Directory
This directory includes a list of CBO sites with available pre-Kindergarten programs as of June 20, 2008.  A CBO is a Community-Based Organization that provides early childhood services such as Head Start or a child care center. These sites located in neighborhoods across the city contract with the New York City Department of Education to provide Universal Pre-Kindergarten services.

Community-Based Organization (CBO) Pre-K Application
To apply to pre-Kindergarten programs offered by CBOs, parents should submit applications directly to the appropriate CBOs.
