Summer school provides students with additional instructional support to ensure that they achieve proficiency in NYS Learning Standards and NYC Performance Standards in order to move on to the next grade level. Summer school is encouraged for those students in grades 3-12 who have not yet met the promotion standards to move on to the next grade level. Non-Resident Students:Student who do not reside on New York City are eligible to attend summer school provided they meet the eligibility criteria found here and pay tuition. Tuition rates are reflected on the "2013 Summer School Non-Resident Enrollment Application" located here .The registering parent should send the signed application form, along with payment, to the Bureau of Non-Public School Payables, 65 Court Street, Rm. 1503, Brooklyn, NY, 11201.
