NEW! 2nd Annual Early Childhood Leadership Series Launches on Feb 3 The Office of Early Childhood Education is excited to announce its 2^nd annual Leadership Series. The three part series is uniquely designed to bring leaders in the field of early childhood education together to share current pedagogical research and practice. These free sessions will be held on February 3, March 25, and May 7 at Scholastic from 8:30am-10:00am. The first session, led by educational consultants, Julie Diamond and Renee Dinnerstein, will focus on the power of observation in early childhood classrooms and how it informs indicators of learning readiness. QUALITYstarsNY Field Test for Early Childhood Programs QUALITYstarsNY, the New York State’s Quality Rating and Improvement System (QRIS), is undergoing a Field Test in three communities within NYC.
