The teacher that I would like to thank is Joseph Piccirillo. I want to thank him because he's been so much more than just a teacher to me. I originally had him as a musicianship teacher and that led to me having him as a Music Theater teacher this year. He is original in his ideas and always supports his students. I told him about my Varsity Volleyball games and he always supported my playing and practices and even came to see me play. He taught the class very well and allowed me to reach a new level of understanding of music and performance despite the fact that I've been associated with music for most of my life.
I feel that there's no real way for me to thank him other than this and I hope that he is honored to the highest degree because he not only made me a good student and a better musician but he made me feel like a man and not just a kid. A man this special deserves to be treated with the utmost respect and recognized for his greatness. This is my ode to maestro Piccirillo, he is the Fibonacci of his time (he'll know what this means).
