I am very grateful for an English Teacher named Mr. Roye at MS 267 in Brooklyn. My son just began attending this school in September, 2007.
Before attending this school, Luis, my son, had no interest in reading. With Mr. Roye, his reading has improved greatly. I time him to read, and ii feels like it’s another child reading. His writing has also improved. On open school day, I was very content with my son's English grade. He received an 80. He had never, ever passed with such a high grade. Mr. Roye has motivated Luis to see reading as a “positive” thing.
