Save the Date for New Teacher Week 2017!
New Teacher Week is the NYCDOE's annual five-day professional learning and welcome event for new teachers. The exciting week includes a keynote address featuring NYC Schools Chancellor Carmen Fariña and UFT President Michael Mulgrew, over 30 workshops led by expert DOE and UFT facilitators, plus a one-day New Hire Fair staffed by DOE and UFT vendors. All of these New Teacher Week experiences are designed to provide practical preparation to support new educators’ strong start to their careers.
New hires will receive an email inviting them to register for New Teacher Week 2017 in mid-July.
