Our public schools have been making real progress. The graduation rate is the highest it’s been in decades, test scores are up, and we’re building a strong foundation for greater achievements in the future. But more work lies ahead.
That’s why The Fund for Public Schools launched a public awareness initiative called Keep It Going NYC, which informs New Yorkers about the progress our schools are making and encourages everyone to join together to keep this progress going. Collaborating with leading education advocates and community organizations across the city, Keep It Going NYC provides families with tools and resources that support their children’s education and gives all New Yorkers information about how they can get involved with the New York City public schools.
Successful schools require the support and participation of parents, families, and the entire city. Our public schools need every one of us to volunteer, mentor, contribute, and become a part of the effort to ensure that all 1.1 million New York City public school students receive the education they deserve. To find out how you can get involved to help keep the progress going, visit www.keepitgoingnyc.org.
Keep It Going NYC is paid for entirely by private funds.
