Over the past four years, New York City public schools have been continually improving, thanks to generous individuals throughout the city who are deeply committed to helping our students succeed.

Mayor's Volunteer Center Founded in 1967, the Mayor's Volunteer Center of New York City connects New Yorkers with meaningful volunteer opportunities that significantly improve the quality of life in New York City. Learn more Junior Achievement Junior Achievement of New York (JANY) provides age-appropriate financial literacy, workforce readiness and entrepreneurial programs to students in grades K-12 in classrooms throughout New York City and in after school programs with community-based partners. The programs are delivered by trained corporate and community volunteers. JANY also offers workplace visits and Job Shadow experiences.
