Hugo Boss, the fashion powerhouse with a long history of sports sponsorships, established a grant in September 2006 to fund a fitness center for a public high school in New York City.

Work at the selected school, the New School for Arts and Sciences in the Bronx, was completed earlier this fall. The new fitness center contains weight training and cardiovascular training equipment to serve more than 400 students at the school.

NY Giants Defensive End Osi Umenyiora, along with Tony Lucia, President and CEO of Hugo Boss USA, helped to select the school. Umenyiora hosted the opening ceremony to open the fitness center.
