The Fund for Public Schools and the Office of the Arts and Special Projects are pleased to announce a request for Arts SPACE (Supporting Performing Arts and Creative Education) proposals.  Arts SPACE is a privately-funded competitive grant program that allows New York City public schools to apply for funding to create or refurbish their performing arts spaces.  Arts SPACE grants enable schools with a demonstrated commitment to strong arts education programs to move closer to the goals outlined in the NYC Department of Education’s Blueprint for Teaching and Learning in the Arts, a sequential arts curriculum guide for students in grades Pre-K-12.  Grants of up to $20,000 will be awarded to selected schools.  The deadline for submission is June 6^th, click here for an application.
