“Sex and the City” Movie Premiere Benefits The Fund for Public Schools



Iconic Movie Will Support New York City Students

New York City
public schools will take center stage as Carrie, Samantha, Charlotte and Miranda reunite on the big screen. The Fund for Public Schools is pleased to announce the premiere of the upcoming “Sex and the City: The Movie” will benefit New York City’s 1.1 million public school students.

During its six-season run on HBO, “Sex and the City” was noted for its iconic portrayal of life in New York City. In partnership with The Fund, “Sex and the City: The Movie” continues this legacy by supporting the institutions most critical for ensuring our city’s future—our 1,400 public schools. By partnering with The Fund for Public Schools, the film’s producers and stars set a powerful example of civic engagement and involvement in public education.

The premiere of “Sex and the City: The Movie” will be on May 27th, 2008, at Radio City Music Hall.
