Financial Management and Reporting is responsible for the following activities.
Issuance of financial statements for the New York City School District pursuant to State Education law.
Maintaining bank accounts for scholarships, trust funds, central headquarters and self-sustaining activities.
Preparation of invoices for amounts due from debtor parties (e.g., vendors, employees, non-residents, etc.) and collection of resulting miscellaneous revenues.
Supplemental annuity payments to the Teachers Retirement System for all eligible pedagogical personnel and payments of union welfare and annuity contributions. Develops policies and procedures in compliance with applicable government accounting, reporting standards and regulations.Useful Links
