The Division of Financial Operations administers and implements the annual Teacher's Choice Program that provides educators an opportunity to procure instructional materials and basic classroom supplies from funds specifically allocated for this purpose. This program supports the efforts of school based educators to enhance the learning experience of students by maximizing the flexibility to purchase materials for use in their classroom or office assignments.

The Teacher’s Choice Program for this school year ends on March 15, 2008. The third distribution of Teacher’s Choice checks for the 2007-08 school year will be issued with the March 14 payroll for staff members who meet all eligibility requirements for the program but were not issued checks in December or January. Recipients must have been active on the payroll through December 1. They must also have had updates made to their EIS records by their ISCs after the initial allocation file was created or have submitted documentation to substantiate their requests.
