Office of Revenue Operations

The Office of Revenue Operations (ORO) is responsible for the filing of claims necessary to maximize the $9.8 billion of State, Federal and local aid which supports the programs and services provided to Department of Education students. As part of this process ORO’s core functions include:

• Identifying and developing new revenue opportunities and putting into place specific initiatives to achieve them.
  
  
• Analyzing State and Federal budget proposals so that new revenue sources can be planned for and maximized.
  
  
• Ensuring that all student and financial data that establish appropriations and generate payments are provided to State and Federal governments in the necessary time frames.
  
  
• Automating revenue functions and required databases to ensure data integrity, provide efficiency and facilitate the ability to provide timely and in-depth financial analysis.
