Pedagogic/School Based Payroll is responsible for forwarding to the Office of the Auditor General (OAG) requests to process lump sum payments of unused annual leave and sick time for pedagogic managers who have separated from service. Our efforts to complete this task have often been compromised by incomplete and/or inaccurate time records. Managers are urged to keep accurate and detailed copies of all records, timesheets, vacations, sick leave, carryover letters, specific written employment agreements, etc. and make certain that they are in a safe place either at home or the workplace. All original documents are to be given to the timekeeper for placement in individual personnel folders. To ensure that all documentation is current, Managers should periodically review, with the timekeeper, all items in their personnel folders.
