Pedagogic Payroll is responsible for administering the processing of payments to Per Diem and Per Session teachers. This payroll also incorporates the Timekeeping/Check Cancellation and Staffing/Grievance Units.
Per Diem Payroll (Q746) is a positive payroll responsible for processing payroll transactions for licensed pedagogic personnel serving in a non-appointed status in schools and other programs.
Per Session Payroll (Q747) is used to pay all pedagogic employees on an hourly or per session basis.
Provides per session training and support to all field personnel.
Timekeeping/Check Cancellation Unit is responsible for processing stop payments, check cancellations and timekeeping adjustments for Q742 pedagogues.
Staffing/Grievance Unit processes Q742 staffing transactions and salary updates. The unit also responds to UFT grievances, stipulations and payroll inquires.
