Welcome to the NYC DOE Mobile Computing Wireless Program. Please be advised that while the Wireless Network may be up and operational in your building, you will need to follow the basic steps in this guide to connect and take full advantage of the Wireless Network. The guide will also help you to identify the wireless network components in the event assistance is needed. Please note that the SSID &WEP web link above is only accessible on VLAN2 (the administrative office network). It cannot be accessed on classroom computers.
Connecting to your wireless network is easy, if you follow these steps:
1- Identify the type of wireless laptop or device you have.
2- Obtain the appropriate wireless network settings for your school including SSID and WEP key.
