Universal Design for Learning
Universal Design for Learning (UDL) is a framework of curriculum that fosters access to learning for everyone. In this course, you will learn how to apply the UDL principles, guidelines and adaptations in helping students to function successfully in the school environment. An emphasis will be made on how to incorporate students’ strengths, learning styles and interests into their learning environment. Participants will use a continuum of technology to improve student engagement and enhance their learning. You will have the opportunity to brainstorm ideas of how to apply UDL principles to the school environment.
There are over 400 seats available for this workshop. Attendance is via a lottery process.
Lottery Process
To enter the lottery, register on eventbrite. You will be asked to enter two boroughs where you would like to attend a workshop. Once, registration closes on October 24, we will be using a Random Number Generator (RGN) program to choose attendees.
How am I notified if I am chosen?
If your number is chosen, you will be notified by email with a workshop date and location.
Please note if your boroughs of choice are not available you may be assigned to an alternate location. You will then have to accept or decline the invitation. Unfortunately, due to the expected number of entrants, we will be unable to accommodate requests for alternate dates or locations.
