If you have questions about enrollment, about transportation to your child’s school, about how to contact your District Family Advocate or Borough Director, or if you want to find zoned schools in your district, you may always dial 311 for the Mayor’s Citywide Service Hotline. 311 may connect you to your local District Family Advocate.

311 is New York City's phone number for government information and non-emergency services. It’s open to all New Yorkers, whether they’re residents, business owners, or visitors. The goal of 311 is to provide the public with quick, easy access to all New York City government services—including information about Education.

The Department of Education works closely with 311 and we encourage families to call 311 if they have questions.
