PS 66 School of Higher Expectations in the Bronx celebrates Respect For All (RFA) from September to June. Each month is designated to a character. The entire staff and administration support RFA, from social workers and guidance counselors going into classes and doing RFA related lessons, to teachers reinforcing the character of the month into their lessons, as well as, incorporating PBIS DeGrazia dollars for positive reinforcement throughout the day. Students are selected to support the RFA theme by demonstrating positive role modeling though the Tai Chi Program where fifth grade students mentor positive behavior and teach Tai Chi to younger students.
This story is part of a series to promote the ongoing school-based programs and activities through the Respect For All initiative.
