Students involved in the
Peer Mediation program at New Utrecht High School created this presentation to raise awareness regarding bullying. The story is told one word at a time. It depicts a situation where a teenager has been threatened. The video continues to focus on the victim with images of their emotions and actions that follow. We are left with a teenager that has been the victim of violence. Now suddenly, a door opens, an ally appears, offering an ear and a helping hand; the victim is no longer alone. The video continues to show how students, one at a time, can help. The Peer Mediation program and its students are a haven to those who feel they are alone.
