Brooklyn: P.S. 119 Amersfort School of Social Awareness

In 2010, Kings County District Attorney Charles J. Hynes held a Bullying Video Contest as part of their Legal Lives program. This is the winning video created by teacher, Genevieve Berretta, featuring Nairan St. Phard and Jeremiah Hyde, who were fifth grade students at P.S. 119.

Nairan and Jeremiah are not the only anti-bullying rappers at P.S. 119, 5th grade teacher Genevieve Berretta works with her entire class of students to create anti-bullying raps.

In fact, the entire school pledges to keep the peace and respect each other with their Peace Builders Pledge!
