The following are recent changes to A&E’s standards as well as information that may be of interest to the consultant community:
The Design Requirements have been revised to incorporate the provisions of the 2008 NYC Construction Codes. The following Bulletin has been issued to the SCA standards.
DR09-03 - Standards revised or added by this Bulletin are dated July 1, 2009.
The 2007 NYC Green Schools Guide has been updated, including all forms. The revisions are to the original March 2007 guide, which is based on LEED NC 2.2. The SCA is currently working on the 2009 Green Schools Guide that will be based on LEED 2009. All projects starting design after June 26, 2009 will follow the 2009 Guide.
