    This is an announcement concerning a opportunity to study Chinese language and culture during the summer of 2007 at Hunter College. A description of the program is available online:

     The summer intensive program is specially designed for American high school students who are entering college or who will be in Grades 11 or 12 in Fall 2007. Upon completing the eight-week Elementary Intensive Chinese course, students will earn six (6) college credits. 

     The program runs from July 2 to August 24. The tuition is $1500.  We will provide incentive scholarships for students with outstanding performance to study abroad and/or to continue their Chinese study after the summer program.
