About Elias Howe

Our current enrollment is about 320 students in Pre-K - 5th Grade. The student day runs from 8:15 am to 2:35 p.m. for all students. We are located in the Clinton (Hell’s Kitchen) neighborhood of Manhattan. Our school has a long-standing tradition of excellence. During the 2004-2005 school year we were awarded the “No Child Left Behind Blue Ribbon School Award.” Our continuing goal is to provide students with a rich, rigorous learning environment based on the New York State Learning Standards. We strive to provide a learning environment that encourages children to embrace learning and to attain the skills and strengths necessary to become life-long learners.
