Inquiry Teams focuses on a target population of students that experience similar barriers to success. This allows them to dive deeper into instructional questions than the AIS team, for example, which has a larger and more diverse roster of students.
Principals have a broad latitude in guiding Inquiry Teams to focus on the school’s biggest priorities for promoting student progress.
The work of the Inquiry Teams is aligned to the incentives built into the Progress Report. They help schools
ocus on the lowest performing third of students.
