COMMUNITY BASED ORGANIZATIONS


The following service providers play an instrumental role in offering professional development and improving the school as a workplace:



NATIONAL ARTS CLUB

Various supports include hosting various GAHS events, providing access to the club for special events and activities for students and staff, and hosting an annual student Art Exhibit.


NORMA KAMALI- a former graduate of this campus has invested in completing a fashion design room in our school and continues to support our students as a guest instructor to the school. She also offers internship to our students.


SPECIAL FEATURES OF GRAMERCY ARTS HIGH SCHOOL


  • Art Gallery – Gramercy Arts has a professionally designed art gallery (Room 119) thanks to the support of alumna Evelyn Nef.  The gallery is used for exhibitions of community, alumni, faculty and student art.
  • Conference Rooms – Since we have a large number of business partners and visitors to the building, conference space is very important.  Rooms  211 is used as conference rooms and additional space is being planned.  See the principal’s secretary in Room 724 if you wish to reserve a conference room.
  • RAP Program – 6tth  Floor students can be referred for group counseling via their Guidance Counselor. facilitator.
  • YMCA – Room 115 – student groups can be created during the 4th period lunch.
  • Mediation Room – Room 716
