Law and Public Service

The Law and public Service House (LPS) is for college-bound students with a particular interest in law and public service.LPS provides its students with a foundation of legal knowledge, from the structure and function of the United States Constitution, to the local court system, through case studies, court visits, mock trails, debate and attorney guest speakers from private practice and government. LPS students also learn the benefits of community service beginning in the tenth grade. Students have the opportunities to intern both within the school and for outside organizations, such as the High School Law Institute. The LPS House has an experienced and and supportive staff who work with all students to help them achieve their academic and career goals.
