The Principal of P.S.163 is Dr. Virginia Pepe. She has a 'hands-on' approach to leadership, believing that every child is unique with his/her own learning style and that PS163 can meet all these needs. Dr. Pepe welcomes parent input, believing that school and home are intertwined in the life of the child, and that in order for a child to succeed, there needs to be mutual respect and co-operation. She works tirelessly to make her school warm and welcoming to all students, even the most reluctant learners. She maintains an Open Door policy and is available to students, staff and parents at any time of the day.
