Wadleigh Secondary School will be the premier arts school in the Harlem community. Students interested in pursuing visual arts, dance, music, theater arts, and the culinary arts will consider Wadleigh a top choice during both the high school application process and the middle school choice process.
Students attending Wadleigh will engage in a rigorous academic curriculum as they pursue and develop their interests and talents in the arts. This includes a firm foundation in reading, writing, scientific research, and mathematical reasoning. Students will take ownership of their intellectual growth through inquiry and project-based learning.
Strong academic preparation will enable Wadleigh’s students to excel in academic events such as the Mock Trials, Model UN, science research competitions, math competitions, creative writing and publishing, and technology-related events.
