Join us for our last programs in our Latino Heritage series presented by the Wadleigh Secondary School Library, Mr. Paul McIntosh, Librarian.

Tuesday, November 10
Guest speaker Jose Armando Fanjul, Assistant District Attorney, New York District County District Attorney's Office.  Mr. Fanjul was born in Santo Domingo in the Dominican Republic. He grew up in Washington Heights and Queens, attending P.S. 212, P.S. 21, J.H.S. 189 and Benjamin N. Cardoza High School. Mr. Fanjul graduated from Pennsylvania State University Law School where he was the first "minority" president of the Student Bar Association

 Friday, November 13
Spoken Word performance and conversation (7th period only) with former Wadleigh students Nuria Francisco, Kent Bueno, Louis Garcia and others.

Wednesday, November 18
Prose and poetry readings during periods 2, 3, 4, 5 and 7.  Faculty and staff will read and perform. A piñata provided by Mr. Landers (and candy given by Ms. Fisher) will be broken during the 7th period.
